The teaching aims to provide basic knowledge on kernel-based methods and code implementation in MATLAB/Python.

Content:

  • Scattered data interpolation
  • Kernel-based methods and radial basis functions
  • Partition of unity methods
  • Kernel-based methods for spherical interpolation
  • Applications in numerical linear algebra, image and signal processing
