Admission

The PhD programme in Mathematics has about 6 positions with grant every year. The Course aims at selecting the best candidates from all over the country as well as from abroad. Admission is by competition, open to candidates holding a second level university degree (Master’s Degree or equal qualification), or that will obtain such a degree by the starting date of the PhD Program (November 1st).
Competitions are held annually, with details being published in the late spring of each year, and the selection takes place during the summer. The application and the interview can be in Italian or English, at the candidate’s choice; the interview can take place online.
