Annual report

At the end of each academic year, graduate students must present an annual report on their training and research activities in the previous year, including:

  • courses, schools, conferences, presentation of posters and seminars;
  • research activity: projects, results, collaborations and visits, preprints and publications;
  • complementary training;
  • activities at the Math Department, organizational activities.

The report must be sent to dottorato.matematica@unito; the specific deadline date is yearly communicated by the coordinator.

1st and 2nd year students must also present this report in an interview with a committee appointed by the board. The interview is scheduled at the end of the academic year, usually in October, in a date communicated by the coordinator and lasts usually 25 minutes plus 5 minutes of questions; students must present the activities mentioned in their report, with particular focus on research, and can prepare slides.
Based on the report and on the assessment of the interview, the board decides on the admission to the following year. In some doubtful cases, the board can admit the student to the following year with reservations, and reserve the right to submit him to a further check after a few months.

For the renewal of the enrollment, students should follow the instructionsopen_in_new
